A Message by Pastor Dayne & Pastor Marty

Integrity Assessment/Discussion Questions:

The point of this assessment is help you assess where you are at and build integrity. It’s not to make you feel judged or less than in any way. You can be as honest with yourself as you feel you need to be. Just know the more honest you are, the better the results.

Private: What have my thoughts been today? Have they been positive? Have they been negative? Am I taking my thoughts captive, or do I allow myself to think about whatever? Do your last week of internet searches hold up with the kind of person you want to be?

Personal: Who’s my support group? Do I have people in my life that I can share with? If so, have I been honest and/or do I need to be? If not, who could I ask to keep you accountable?

Professional: Do the students in my classes know what I believe? Would they surprised to hear that I claim to follow Jesus?

Public: Look through what you’ve posted in the last 2-3 weeks. Does what you’ve posted represent your faith well? What about your likes on other posts/pages, do they represent a Christ-centered life?

GUIDED PRAYER EXPERIENCE:

We encourage you to pray every day this week. Use this guide 10 minute prayer guide to help get your started:

- Begin with 1 minute of silence, to acknowledge and be more aware that God is with you.

- Read a Psalm from the Bible

- Spend 2-3 minutes telling God what you are thankful for

- Spend 1-2 Minutes telling God what has been difficult

- Spend 2-3 minutes asking God for help and wisdom

- End with the Lords Prayer:

Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
