The Story of Beaverton Christian Church
A Legacy of Faith and Community
Beaverton Christian Church (BCC) has served as a cornerstone of faith, service, and belonging for the past one hundred years. What began in 1925 with 65 believers in a small building at Main and Second continues to grow into a thriving, multigenerational, multicultural church devoted to sharing the love of Jesus both locally and globally.
A Church with a Heart for Others
Since its inception, BCC has aimed to create a community where people can encounter God and share His love with others. As Beaverton grew, so did BCC. The church relocated to Allen Boulevard in 1962, building a chapel to provide a dedicated space for worship and community.
But buildings were never the point—people were. In the 1970s, BCC added a multi-purpose gym and an outdoor amphitheater designed for gathering and growing. By 1992, as the congregation expanded, the church took another leap of faith and constructed a 1,400-seat auditorium and a dedicated children’s ministry area—ensuring that all who walked through its doors had a place to belong.
Serving Beyond Our Walls
Throughout its history, BCC has been a church in action, reaching beyond its walls to serve the local community and the world. Missionaries have been sent across the globe, and locally, BCC supports schools, the community, and multiple people and community events - seeking to love people as Jesus does.
BCC's heart has always been to live sacrificially so that others may know Jesus.
Better Together: A New Chapter
In 2017, BCC embraced the belief that we are “Better Together” and joined with Willamette Christian Church— as one church in two locations. Hope City Church joined the family in 2018, followed by New Hope Church in 2024 and All City Church in 2025. Together, these churches serve with the same mission, vision, values, governance, and DNA.
Looking Forward in Faith
As we celebrate our 100th anniversary, we are excited about God’s plans for the future. BCC remains dedicated to becoming an inviting, multigenerational, multicultural, and mission-driven church—a community where individuals experience transformation through the love of Jesus.
God is doing extraordinary things through BCC, and we invite you to join us. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or seeking a community to grow in, you are welcome here. Let’s walk this journey together, serving, loving, and following Jesus as we step forward in faith into the next 100 years.
