WHAT TO EXPECT AT BCC KIDS

Welcome to BCC Kids!

We exist to serve your family, and one of the ways we do that is through providing excellent Sunday programming for your kids. The BCC Kids area is open to all kids age Infant - 5^th grade on Sundays during both the 9am & 10:45am services. Below we’ve shared some info that will help you know what to expect when you visit BCC Kids on a Sunday - we’re excited to see you!

ARRIVAL

When you enter our main lobby at BCC, look to the right for the giant stairway leading down to the Kids Lobby (you’ll see our big BCC Kids logo in the stairwell). Once you walk down the stairs and enter the lobby, you’ll find our Kids Info Desk.
If you don’t fancy walking down the stairs, we also have an elevator available that will take you from the main level down to the Kids Lobby.
If you need help locating either the staircase or the elevator, just ask any of our friendly Hosts out in the main lobby. They’ll be wearing lanyards so that you know who they are, they’ll be happy to help!

CHECK-IN

If you are visiting BCC Kids for the first time, come see us at the Kids Info Desk. We’ll create accounts for your children, guide you through our check-in process, and answer any questions you may have.
For future visits, checking-in your kids will be as simple as going to any of our self-service screens in the Kids Lobby and punching in your phone number. Once you’ve answered a couple simple questions, your tags will print right out for you!
Remember to have your kids wear their nametags into class, and make sure to hold on to your pick-up tag (you’ll need it at check-out).

DROP-OFF

You’ll find the entrances to our Early Childhood Rooms right in the Kids Lobby. Our Elementary Classrooms are a short walk down the hall, just follow the signs.
Classroom drop-off begins 10 minutes before the start of each service, and a friendly Classroom Host will be ready to greet you at the door and welcome your child into class.
If you need any help locating a classroom or are unsure of which classroom is right for your child, simply inquire at our Kids Info Desk.

LEARNING

In our Early Childhood rooms we do crafts, play with toys, sing songs, and have a ton of fun learning about Jesus together.
In our Elementary classrooms we play games, worship through song, engage in small groups, earn tokens, and have a ton of fun learning how to follow Jesus together.

CHECK-OUT

To check your child out of class, simply show your pick-up tag at the door to your child’s classroom, and the Classroom Host will help you just like before. We always match the safety code on your child’s tag to the one on your pick-up tag, to make sure your child is going home with the correct adult.
If you lose your tag, or if your tag doesn’t match the one your child is wearing, please visit the Kids Info Desk for assistance.

RESOURCES

Our Classroom Hosts will give you a monthly handout that will help you follow along with what your child is learning in class. In addition, we’ve got a great selection of Parent Guides in our Kids Lobby that will help you navigate various parenting challenges.

PLAYGROUND

We’ve got an indoor playground for your kids to enjoy before you drop them off and after you pick them up from class. Just remember to have your kids take off their shoes, and please keep an eye on them while they play.
There is hand sanitizer located near the entrance of the Playground for your convenience.

HEALTH & SAFETY

No adult or child should enter the children’s area if they have symptoms of any illness, including but not limited to those of COVID-19. Symptoms to watch for: fever, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, headache, or sore throat. Individuals with a confirmed case of COVID-19 should not enter until after adhering to the recommended quarantine and isolation guidelines.
If a child develops symptoms of any kind during class, we’ll page the parent/guardian by projecting the child’s safety code on the screens in the main auditorium.
Our children’s facility is cleaned thoroughly each week by our janitorial team, and hand sanitizer is available and encouraged in our classrooms. Masks are optional, but available in the Kids Lobby for those who would like them.
