April 27: Caregiving 101: Build Your Caregiving Toolkit. Get started with essential tools and resources for navigating the healthcare system, finding community support, and how to care for yourself while caregiving.
May 4: Dementia - An Overview: Understand Alzheimer's and other dementias, and discover resources to support both caregivers and those experiencing cognitive changes.
May 11: Mother's Day (no meeting)
May 18: Working with Challenging Behaviors: Learn effective strategies for understanding and managing difficult behaviors without being combative -- one of the most demanding aspects of caregiving.
May 25: Memorial Day (no meeting)
June 1: Plan and Prepare: Gain valuable insights into legal, financial, and care planning for the future, presented by Elder Law and Estate Planning attorney, Wesley Fitzwater of Fitzwater Law, Inc.
