The Holy Spirit

CHANGES TO OUR ONLINE MESSAGES

As pandemic related restrictions are lifted and more people have begun to return to in-person services, we have made changes to our weekly online messages.

To stay up to date on the message that was given in person at the campus, you can listen online below or subscribe to our podcast wherever you listen to podcasts.

If you would prefer to see a video message, we will post one from a member of our cross-campus teaching team each Sunday morning here. It will be available on-demand so you can watch it whenever you want. While each week's video message will be from the current series, the topic may be different than that of the in-person message.

Acts: The Church - The Holy Spirit - Jon Furman

Acts 1:4-5 (NLT)
Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before. John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.”

Acts 2:2 (NLT)
Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

John 16:7-8 (NLT)
But in fact, it is best for you that I go away, because if I don’t, the Comforter won’t come. If I do go away, then I will send him to you. 8 And when he comes, he will convict the world of its sin, and of God’s righteousness, and of the coming judgment.

John 16:13-15 (NLT)
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. He will bring me glory by telling you whatever he receives from me.

Ephesians 1:13b-14a (NLT)
…And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own…
