Great Things Happened at Black Lake!

"Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.” - 2 Corinthians 9:10-12

Our Middle School students just returned from our annual Middle School camp, Black Lake. Over the week, students from all 3 of our campuses engaged in teaching and worship, while connecting and having fun through activities like boating, tubing, and recreational games. Through the relational investment of our incredible leaders and volunteers, and the teaching and worship sessions, 20 students made first-time decisions to know, love, and follow Jesus, and 67 students indicated they are ready to take their next step in baptism.

This kind of life change is made possible by your faithful and generous giving. When we look to God for all we need, trusting in all that He is and all He richly provides, it produces generosity in us. We realize we have been enriched in every way so we can always be generous. Out of the overflow of what we have received from God, we give, and that results in many expressions of thanks to God!

Your giving has a huge impact on ministry here in our church. Our Middle School ministry is such a great place for students to be inspired to know, love, and follow Jesus, and it’s your generosity that makes it all happen! So thank you for your generosity. And we invite you to join us in thanking God for the great ministry that took place at Black Lake last week!
