Northwest Children’s Outreach

Volunteers can serve alone or as a group, all ages and abilities welcome. Volunteers can expect to help in the sorting, organizing, or re-stocking of clothing donations for children in our community.

An organization that supports foster families, serving here allows you to help with the intake of donations, the sorting and cleaning of clothes and toys for local area children, ages 0-6.

Looking for your next hands on, construction style, serve opportunity? No experience necessary, but be prepared to tackle a range of projects that a crew will lead you in as you serve our neighbors. Projects are available during spring and summer months.

Sam’s Attic

Partner with others in a local thrift store whose mission provides education for orphans and vulnerable children by funding teacher salaries in Uganda. Volunteers can support in a range of activities to include sorting and pricing of items, donation intake, assisting shoppers.

Faith Cafe

Share your skills and hospitality with our neighbors through this local area, hot food cafe. Through a collaboration of local area churches, you’ll have a chance to food prep, serve and host guests for a hot dinner experience.

Women's Life Change Center

Do you have a heart for sharing a skill with a small group of women? Crafts? Self-care? Small group study? Cooking a meal? This space offers a place to volunteer those gifts as you walk alongside women and their children. Background check and application required.

DHS Visitation Rooms

Have a group that wants to refresh a space for families to connect? The Oregon Department of Human Services looks for volunteers to paint, update, decorate these spaces so that children and families can connect in a safe and pleasant environment.

Food Bank

Removing the barrier of access to food, these agencies provide a way for you to partner in that accessibility. Volunteers can expect to sort canned and boxed food donations, or repack and label bulk food items in addition to welcoming guests as they shop.
