It’s A New Day: Believe Again - Psalm 126:5 (NLT) - Jon Furman
Psalm 126:1-6 (NLT)
When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream! We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said, “What amazing things the Lord has done for them.” Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy! Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert. Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed, but they sing as they return with the harvest.
Psalm 126:5 - “Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.”
By Faith:
Noah built an Ark…
Abraham offered Isaac…
Isaac blessed Jacob…
Moses left Egypt…
Faith is believing God with our hearts and minds, then proving it with our hands and feet.
“…planted in tears…”.
We don’t wait for our feelings to change until we believe again,
We believe again because that’s how God changes our feelings.
“I leaned over and said to the person standing next to me, ‘These people out there today don’t know it yet, but they’re about ready to go to church.’ From his body language and the tone in his voice, I knew Martin was about to transform into the superb Baptist preacher he was… and honoring Jackson’s request he declared, “I have a dream…” - Clarence B. Jones
“Those who plant in tears will harvest with shouts of joy.”
Hebrews 11:6 (NLT)
And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.
