It’s A New Day: Sing Again - Psalm 126:2 (NLT) - Jon Furman
Psalm 126:1-4 (NLT)
When the Lord brought back his exiles to Jerusalem, it was like a dream! We were filled with laughter, and we sang for joy. And the other nations said, “What amazing things the Lord has done for them.” Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy! Restore our fortunes, Lord, as streams renew the desert.
“we sang for joy… Restore our fortunes, Lord”
God’s new song arrives before our new circumstances.
Psalm 40:1-3 (NLT)
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. He has given me a new song to sing, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see what he has done and be amazed. They will put their trust in the Lord.
“I waited patiently for the Lord to help me…”
“He turned to me and heard my cry…”
“Many will see what he has done and be amazed.
They will put their trust in the Lord.”
